In the heart of East Texas, where softball programs are few and far between, a small-town team has risen to incredible heights. Lightning 2k14, founded in April 2021, is rewriting the script for 10U softball teams. Their story is one of grit, teamwork, and unwavering commitment to excellence. What started as a modest group of six-year-olds has blossomed into one of the top 10U teams in the region.
Lightning 2k14’s impressive Fall 2024 record of 32-9-1 is just one example of their determination to succeed. However, their success isn’t just about numbers—it’s about how this team plays, grows, and uplifts each other every step of the way.
