Liberty might be considered a “mid-major” program, but the Flames don’t mess around when it comes to the softball diamond.
Shepherded by former Olympic great Dot Richardson, the Flames play a challenging schedule every year and don’t shy away from competition. Their 2021 showing was impressive enough to earn them a regional 2-seed in Knoxville, where they finished one win shy of a Super Regional berth.
Entering 2022, the pattern of quality scheduling will continue.
