After winning the Women’s College World Series in 2010, UCLA missed the championship tournament in each of the next four years. Following their title victory in 2019, the Bruins assured there would be no repeat of that fate as they returned to the WCWS in 2021 for the sixth consecutive year.
Two-time Honda Cup winner and all-time great Rachel Garcia graduated after last season, and the Bruins enter 2022 in the first post-Garcia year for the program.
