Extra Inning Softball has released the official announcement schedule for all Class of 2026 recognition features, including academic honors, uncommitted regional watchlists, and division-based highlights for committed athletes.

This year’s rollout introduces a clearer, more structured sequence designed to help families, coaches, and college recruiters follow every phase of the evaluation process.

The schedule outlines when academic awards will be published, when uncommitted prospects will be showcased by region, and when division-specific interviews and updates will appear across the platform.

Academic Honor Rolls Schedule

Academic accolades will launch ahead of the athletic watchlists, underscoring the importance of classroom excellence among softball’s student athletes.

November 14
• National Honor Roll: Distinguished Prospects: GPAs 3.50–3.74

November 15
• National Honor Roll: Extra Selects: GPAs 3.75–3.99

November 16
• National Honor Roll: Elite Scholars: GPAs 4.0+

Uncommitted Region Watchlists

Beginning November 17, Extra Inning Softball will release regional watchlists for uncommitted athletes across the country.

November 17: Northeast
November 18: Southeast
November 19: Midwest
November 20: Southwest
November 21: Mountain
November 22: Full national recap

Committed Division Watch Lists Released

Between October 27 and November 1, Extra Inning Softball published the Committed Division Watch Lists for:

• NAIA–NCCAA
• JUCO
• Division III
• Division II
• Mid-Major
• Power Four

A full recap was published on November 2, creating a comprehensive overview of the top committed athletes by division. These lists will continue to narrow throughout the year as the evaluation process advances.

Next Phase: 2026 Committed Watchlist

We will continue the committed watchlist process by announcing the Elite 100 for committed players in each division on the following dates.

Jan. 27, 2026: NAIA–NCCAA
Jan. 28, 2026: JUCO
Jan. 29, 2026: Division III
Jan. 30, 2026: Division II
Jan. 31, 2026: Mid-Major
Feb. 1, 2026: Power 4

Additional levels of recognition will follow:

Apr. 6–11, 2026: Top 50 Watch List
Jul. 6–11, 2026: Top 25 Watch List
Aug. 3–8, 2026: Top 5 Watch List
Aug. 15, 2026: National Player of the Year announcement

Division Watchlist Interviews Coming 

To give fans and families deeper insight into each group, Extra Inning Softball will feature one athlete from every committed division watchlist through a series of interviews:

Nov. 17: Power 4
Nov. 19: Mid-Major
Nov. 21: Division II
Nov. 23: Division III
Nov. 24: JUCO

For Uncommitted Players Seeking Visibility

For uncommitted athletes in the Class of 2026 who were not nominated during the Extra Inning Softball evaluation process and wish to be seen by our team, please complete this form HERE. This provides athletes an opportunity to be reviewed for future visibility features.

Players who have already been highlighted in our Getting on the Radar series will not be featured again, so please submit only one entry per athlete.

Reminder for Committed Athletes

Committed players may still be highlighted nationally by completing the official submission form. Once received, athletes are added to the updated verbal commit list and considered for future features within Extra Inning Softball.
