Extra Inning Softball announced today the dates of publication for the top players in the Class of 2023 as part of the next installment in the prestigious Extra Elite 100 series.
Note: the next set of rankings after the 2023’s will be the 2024 Extra Elite 100!
The extensive coverage, including player bios and photos, of the 2023 Extra Elite 100 will start Monday, July 13, 2020 and wrap up with the #1 overall prospect to be announced on Friday, July 24, 2020.
The following week—July 27-Aug. 1—will feature the following:
- a spotlight on the top player in the class,
- the players ranked #’s 101-500,
- Class of 2023 position rankings (pitchers, catchers, infielders, outfielders)
This follows the previous Extra Elite 100 rankings published over the last year for the Classes of 2020-through-2025. The 2025 Extra Elite 100 rankings were the most recently published (May, 2020).
The rankings are led by Brentt Eads, Extra Inning Softball’s President & Executive Editor, along with the Extra Inning Softball staff as well as with input from more than 250 college and club scouts and coaches.
Eads, who originated the top 100 rankings lists used in softball, will now have ranked more than a decade of grad classes (2014 to 2025).
