Dylinn Stancil-Rowland Joining Delta State Coaching Staff

Delta State is hiring Dylinn Stancil-Rowland as an assistant coach.

Stancil-Rowland most recently was the head coach at Mississippi Delta Community College during the 2022 season. She led the Trojans to a 13-31 overall record during her sole season at the helm, including eight wins in conference play.

Prior to her tenure at MDCC, Stancil-Rowland was an assistant coach at Blue Mountain College.

During her own playing career, she spent time at both Ole Miss and UAB. As a Rebel, she was part of the 2017 SEC tournament championship squad. She transferred to UAB in 2019, where she spent her final two seasons, culminating with the 2020 campaign.

At Delta State, Stancil-Rowland will join the staff of first-year head coach Whitney Way who took the helm of the program in mid-July. Stancil-Rowland’s husband, Daniel, is also expected to join the DSU coaching staff; he was previously on staff at both MDCC and Blue Mountain College with his wife.
