From January 3 through the beginning of the regular season, we’re going to take a look at every Division 1 conference and Forecast what to expect in each league this season. Today, we take a look at the A10.
I. Conference Breakdown
There are nine teams that play softball in the A10. Those programs include Dayton, Fordham, George Mason, George Washington, Rhode Island, Saint Joseph’s, Saint Louis, St. Bonaventure, and UMass.
Loyola Chicago is set to join the A10 this summer as a full member.
Last season, George Washington won the A10 Central Division and were the top seed in the conference tournament. The Colonials emerged victorious and made their first NCAA tournament appearance in program history.
