When Bridget Orchard returned to Villanova to rebuild her alma mater’s softball program, the expectations for VU softball immediately went up. Orchard is a winner and has won throughout her entire coaching career, and has already made leaps and bounds of progress once she “returned home”.
The Wildcats finished 29th in the final RPI last season, won 37 games, and appeared in their first NCAA tournament – ever.
