The ACC/Big 10 Challenge will return to the college softball slate in 2023.
Previously an annual event, the Challenge has not been held in either of the past two seasons due to scheduling issues stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2023 edition of the event will be hosted by ACC teams and will also include matchups between conference-member teams who are participating in the Clearwater Elite Invitational.
Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Clemson, and NC State will be the host schools for the 2023 Challenge. Each “pod” for the Challenge includes two ACC teams and two Big 10 teams.
Indiana, Michigan, and Nebraska will represent the Big 10 in Clearwater; Duke, Florida State, and Virginia Tech will represent the ACC in that tournament.
