Welcome to Dear Younger Me, a heartfelt series from Extra Inning Softball featuring letters from our 2026 Commit Crew as they head into their senior seasons. Each week, we spotlight one athlete’s honest reflection—written to the younger version of herself who first dared to dream big and lace up her cleats.
This week, we hear from Taylor Johns, a determined competitor and future Georgia Bulldog. Johns’ letter captures the emotional grind behind the scenes—the sore hands, long drives, quiet doubts, and moments of quiet faith. Through it all, she stayed the course.
