As someone who spent five years wearing the burgundy and gold at the University of Louisiana Monroe, I’ve lived the highs and lows of competitive softball. Today’s article isn’t about a player, a team, or a tournament—it’s about the heart of the game.
We’ll talk about why your character will outlast your career stats, how your impact as a teammate goes beyond the box score, and why the lessons you learn in this sport can shape your life far beyond the field.
And if you take one thing away from this article, let it be this: when the last inning is played, your teammates will remember who you were—not what your batting average was.
