In an article we published last Fall, Courtney Blades-Rogers (then Courtney Blades) was highlighted as one of the 11 Best College Softball Pitchers of All Time and she set all kinds of records—including most wins in a season with 52—on her way to being named the 2000 Player of the Year.

Today, she’s a club coach and softball mom as she leads the Texas Dirt Divas 16U team while also cheering on her daughter Britton Rogers, a sophomore pitcher for the Georgia Bulldogs (who played last year for the same head coach, Lu Harris-Champer, that Courtney competed for at Nicholls State then Southern Mississippi).
At the Top Gun Invitational in June, I caught up with Courtney between games and had a great time talking with her… under we were rudely interrupted at the very end!
