Big 12 Announces 2023 Conference Softball Schedule

On Tuesday, the Big 12 announced the league’s full conference schedule for the 2023 season.

The 2023 season also marks the final year of the current conference makeup, as four schools – and three softball programs – are set to join the league next summer.

The Big 12 placed three teams in the NCAA tournament last season and all three programs – Oklahoma, Texas, and Oklahoma State – reached the semifinals of the Women’s College World Series. Oklahoma and Texas played for the national championship, the first time in history that two Big 12 programs were the last two teams standing on the season’s final day.

Conference play kicks off in the Big 12 the weekend of March 24-26 and runs through the conference tournament, annually held at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City, which will take place May 11-13.
