In the latest edition of Bracketology, we posited 12 teams as “locks” to host a Regional in the NCAA tournament. We see seven teams in contention for the remaining four hosting spots.
Additionally, some teams who are projected as automatic qualifiers in Bracketology 7.0 could also make an intriguing case for an at-large selection should they be upset in their respective conference tournaments.
For this edition of Bubble Watch, we’re going to examine the resumes of the teams in both categories: those who are still in contention to host a regional and those who may be atop their conference at present, but also could have an argument for tournament consideration based solely on merit.
