Caitlyn Nesbitt, a talented right-handed pitcher for the Alabama Sparks Elite 18u out of Dublin, Georgia has committed to play softball in the Atlantic Coast Conference with the Duke University Blue Devils, starting in the fall of 2025.
Having competed in a variety of sports throughout her life, Caitlyn has stuck with softball since she was five years old. Presently, she excels at softball, track and field, and basketball for Dublin High School.
“Of all the sports I’ve played growing up, softball is my passion. So much time, tears, and effort have been poured into this game I love, and I wouldn’t change anything about it,” shared the athlete. “I’ve gone through numerous trials and tribulations as a multi-sport athlete, but with God and my faith, I reached one of my dreams from this game.”
At Dublin, Caitlyn had a fantastic junior season this fall, resulting in her receiving a spot on the 1st Team All-Region, as well as the team’s Offensive Award and recognition for the highest GPA in her class, demonstrating her ability to excel both on and off the field.
