Ohio head coach Kenzie Roark has resigned her post, sources confirmed to Extra Inning Softball on Thursday.

Roark spent the last four seasons as the Bobcats’ head coach. She collected an 89-87 overall record during her tenure, including a 46-39 showing in Mid-American Conference play.

The 2019 season, Roark’s first as head coach, resulted in the program’s best record under her shepherding. Notching a 34-21 overall mark, the Bobcats also went 12-8 in conference play that year.

During the 2022 season, the Bobcats posted a 23-25 overall record and went 17-10 in conference play, finishing second in the regular-season conference standings.

Prior to taking the helm at Ohio, Roark had stints on staff at USC Upstate, East Tennessee State, and Virginia Tech, her alma mater.
