Lafayette College has hired Karavin Dew as the program’s new head coach.
Dew spent the 2022 season as an assistant coach at Tennessee State, part of the staff that helped guide the Tigers to a 15-39 overall record and a 6-22 showing in Ohio Valley conference play.
Prior to her tenure at TSU, Dew’s coaching resume includes stints at Austin Peay; Brown; Mercer; and Brevard College.
A Western Kentucky alumnus, Dew finished her Hilltopper career in 2013 and was twice named an all-Sun Belt honoree during her career. She set a WKU program single-season record with five triples during her sophomore campaign.
Lafayette finished the 2022 season with a 10-37 overall record and a 2-16 showing against Patriot League opponents.
