Arizona State is hiring Megan Bartlett as their new head coach.
Bartlett spent the last two years on staff at Texas and was part of the coaching unit that led the Longhorns to the national championship series at the Women’s College World Series earlier this month.
Prior to joining the Texas staff, Bartlett spent five years as the head coach at Ball State. She collected a 141-108 overall record while leading the Cardinals and won the MAC West Division title in 2018. Under her guidance, the Cardinals reached the 30-win plateau in 2017, ’18, and ’19.
In addition to her time leading Ball State, Bartlett’s resume also includes stints on staff at Purdue, Northern Illinois, DePaul, and Loyola Chicago. Previously Megan Ciolli, Bartlett’s resume as a player included the 2004 Big East Player of the Year award, two All-American honors, and several years as a professional player.
