Tell us about Arizona Storm and how you became involved with them?
I love the Storm organization! Coach (Corey) Mathis and Coach (Steve) Appel are amazing and well known in the club softball world. This is an elite program and I am so lucky to be a part of it.

When I first joined club ball, I played with the same team for 2 1/2 years. I loved my first team, but was ready for a new challenge and a teammate recommended that I check out the Storm organization. I have been lucky enough to play for several Storm teams and tried out for Coach Appel’s team last fall. His teams are known as being top caliber and I was very nervous. I never guessed I would be offered a spot on the team. I decided to take it and I embarked on a new adventure. It was a risk, but had a high reward! I got to meet and work with elite coaches, competitive teammates and play at top-tier national tournaments. I am so lucky to be a part of this amazing softball program!

What do you bring to the team?
I would like to think that I bring energy to my team. I try to be loud on and off the field, especially in the dugout. I want each girl on my team to know I’m pulling for her. When I’m pitching, they have my back and make outstanding plays. When we are on offense I want them to hear me cheering for them and that I believe in them. Our whole team is fun, loud and really silly and I know I can be myself around them.
