The OKC Spark, an expansion team in the Women’s Professional Fastpitch league that will make their debut in 2023, has signed Michelle Moultrie to their inaugural roster.
Moultrie is the first player signed by the Spark following the team’s formation in mid-summer. Seminole State head coach Amber Flores was previously announced as the Spark’s head coach.
A veteran player who played collegiately at Florida, Moultrie was a two-time All-American as a Gator and was also named the 2012 SEC Player of the Year. She earned all-conference honors in each of her four seasons of college softball, including an All-Freshman Team nomination in 2009.
Post-college, Moultrie began a tenure with Team USA that has stretched consecutively since that time. She was part of the silver-medalist Team USA at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 and played in the initial Athletes Unlimited professional league season in 2020.
