Blog: Auburn Commit Taylor Pannell Begins Journey to PGF Nationals

If you followed our Extra Inning Sports Class of 2022 Elite 100 rankings, you’d know that Taylor Pannell, an infielder from Milan, Illinois who plays for the Beverly Bandits 14U Futures team, is one of the Top 10 players in her class and an Auburn commit as of January 2018.

We excited to announce that Taylor—who we profiled recently in an Extra Star Power feature— will be blogging for us to show behind-the-scenes footage and perspectives on her journey between now and the culmination of her summer: taking the field in Southern California for the PGF 14U National Championship.

I am Taylor Pannell, a 2022 grad committed to Auburn.

I play third base for the Beverly Bandits and this is my journey to Huntington Beach and the PGF Nationals where last year my team placed 3^rd at 12U PGF Nationals.

It was a tough loss and we all took it personally because we all worked so hard and left everything out on the field.
