The Terrific Ten has you covered on all the best highlights from all the action across college softball on Friday!

1. A seven-run sixth inning powered South Carolina to an upset win over Florida in Columbia, the final piece of a back-and-forth affair that saw the two teams combine for 17 hits and 23 runs. After South Carolina jumped out to an early lead, the Gators batted around in the sixth inning and took their first lead of the ball game in a 7-run frame. The Gamecocks responded in the bottom of the inning with their own 7-spot, clinching the 13-10 final score once and for all. An RBI single, error, two bases-loaded walks, and a 3-RBI triple from Sam Roe led to Florida’s scoring in their portion of the 6th, while South Carolina notched their runs thanks to an RBI double, a passed ball on a strike out, an RBI hit-by-pitch, and two consecutive RBI singles.

2. It took to the 10th inning, but Tennessee pulled off a win in their series opener against Texas A&M. The Lady Vols rode a tremendous performance by Ashley Rogers to a 2-1 victory. Emily Leavitt and Shaylee Ackerman threw well for Texas A&M, including getting themselves into and out of jams, but Tennessee finally broke through with two runs in the top of the 10th inning. A lightning-induced delay temporarily postponed the bottom of the frame, a bottom half that saw Ashley Rogers give up her first hit and run of the game. Rogers notched 11 strikeouts and allowed 7 walks and the one hit in 9,2, innings of work, with Karlyn Pickens entering the game in the 10th to get the final out and record the save.

3. In a matchup of the two best teams in the PAC-12, UCLA and Megan Faraimo dominated Stanford from the circle en route to a 4-0 victory over the visiting Cardinal. Faraimo notched 15 strikeouts in the game, a season high, and pitched her second shutout of the year against a top-10 opponent. She now leads the PAC-12 with 16 wins to her credit on the season and also leads the league with 151 strikeouts. The Bruins scored twice in the third inning and twice in the sixth, all earned runs off of Alana Vawter.

4. Tarleton pitcher Tristan Bridges was unhittable on Friday – literally. The Texans’ pitcher threw her first career no-hitter to begin a conference series against Cal Baptist. Bridges’ gem was the second no-no of the year for Tarleton’s pitching staff and was the third in program history to have gone a full seven innings. Bridges did not give up a hit or a walk, but did allow a trio of baserunners thanks to two hit-by-pitches and an error. Bridges did not record a strikeout in the game, with her defense getting all 21 outs behind her.

5. Kansas picked up their first win over a ranked opponent this season by winning the series-opener against Baylor by a 2-1 final score. The Jayhawks emerged victorious from the true pitcher’s duel, with Kasey Hamilton and Lizzy Ludwig outdueling Baylor’s Dariana Orme. The Jayhawks only got three hits off of Orme, but made the most of them; Kansas’ pitchers combined to allow six hits, four walks, and notch three strikeouts. An infield line drive from Lyric Moore scored Kansas’ second, and ultimately deciding, run.

6. The official game time was 3 hours, 59 minutes and UNLV and Colorado State made every minute count, dueling in a nine-inning affair that also wound up as the first night game in Rams’ home program history. The game saw 25 runs scored, 24 hits, and a total of six pitchers used between the two teams. There were nine extra base hits in the game, including a 9th-inning home run by Janyssa Martin that ultimately gave UNLV the 13-12 victory. For UNLV, Denise Armendariz was 2-5 at the plate with four RBIs, while Ashley York was 3-3 with 5 RBIs, leading Colorado State’s batting lineup.

7. Washington opened their series against Arizona State in Tempe with a win on Friday, utilizing a 2-run fourth inning to nail down the victory. After an RBI triple from Madison Huskey scored Baylee Klingler, a Sydney Stewart RBI single gave the Huskies the lead for good. Ruby Meylan and Lindsay Lopez combined to allow just three hits and notch ten strikeouts in the game from the circle for UW.

8. Seton Hall is quietly off to their best conference start in nearly two decades. Now 7-3 to begin Big East play, the Pirates are indeed off to their best start in conference play since 2005. Kelsey Carr threw a gem from the circle, allowing just three hits and shutting out the St. John’s offense, while the Pirate offense saw a home run from Taylor Hill and a pair of RBI doubles by Olivia Gilbert.

9. Oklahoma’s 8-1 win over Texas came in front of a record-breaking crowd at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. The site of the Women’s College World Series hosted game one of the rivalry, technically still listed as a home game for Oklahoma, and a crowd of 8,930 were there to see it happen. The attendance dwarfed the previous regular-season record of some 5,700, a mark that was set in 2000. OU hit three home runs in the game, including longballs from Tiare Jennings, Haley Lee, and Kinzie Hansen en route to the victory.

10. Harvard’s Megan Walsh, tracking it all the way and crashing into the wall to finish off a sensational play:
