The transfer portal has been as busy as ever this year, with more than 1,000 softball players entering the portal in a 12-month span.
Even with such high traffic within the portal, some college programs weren’t active in the transfer market while others embraced it. There were those who went all-in for transfers, and there were others that simply filled the needs that they had on their roster.
Like it or not, the portal is here to stay.
Instead of examining individual impact transfers throughout college softball, we decided to take a look at the top Transfer Classes from this offseason. These are the programs who improved their teams the most with the players that they acquired via the portal.
