People are STILL talking about the mammoth blast Missouri-signee Jazmyn Rollin hit last weekend for the Explosion – Denio/Jackson team against Impact Gold – Lewis at the So Cal A’s Invitational that some estimate went 270 feet and landed in the top of a tree!

Jazmyn, who has won a high school state title and one at the club level, is a player we’ve had our eye on since last summer when she shined at PGF Nationals playing for her father, Fred Rollin, who himself was a college athlete as a 6-foot-3 basketball player in college (although he honestly looks like he was a bruising NFL offensive tackle at one point!).
We caught up with daughter and dad after the eye-opening home run last Saturday to find out what it’s like coming from Utah and playing for her father’s club team and why she’s now joined one of the top programs in So Cal (spoiler alert: it’s refreshing to hear why her father encouraged Jazmyn to make the team change).
Here’s the interview we did last Saturday which you can find on the Extra Inning Softball YouTube channel (and sorry about the wind… it was so strong at times during the day it blew over some canopies!)…Unleashing Talent: Texas Blaze 12U Ready to Make Waves

And be sure to check back on Monday morning when we publish an exclusive interview with Jazmyn and get more of her thoughts on everything from the coaching change at Missouri to what she would change if she were President of the U.S. to what super power she’d like to have… stay tuned!
