“Magical” is a good word to describe Florida State’s postseason run in 2021.
The team that had to watch while upstart programs still in their beginning years won the ACC regular-season and tournament titles reminded the nation of their status as postseason stalwarts by sweeping through their hosted regional, winning a Super Regional in two games on the road, and tearing off four straight wins in elimination games after dropping the opening game of the Women’s College World Series.
