There have been some wild times for Ole Miss softball over the last decade. Multiple coaching changes, transfers in and out, a surprise SEC tournament championship run, the program’s first-ever Super Regional appearances, and more than one rebuilding project are the highlights, and there’s more where all of that came from.
The 2023 season marks Jamie Trachsel’s third year as the Rebels’ head coach; working on her own program rebuild, Trachsel led the Rebels to regional final appearances in each of the last two seasons, reaching Sunday at Arizona in 2021 and against UCLA a year ago.
