
2029 Rankings & Honors Recap
The Class of 2029 has quickly proven to be one of the most talented and well-rounded groups in fastpitch softball. Over the past few months, Extra Inning Softball has covered their achievements on the field and in the classroom.
This year’s coverage featured the Regional and National Position Rankings, the Regional Top 75 Hitters, the Extra Elite 100 Hitters Hotlist, and the fan-voted Fastpitch Fan Pick. We also honored academic standouts through our National Honor Roll.
This recap highlights the rankings, awards, and accomplishments that make the Class of 2029 one of the most exciting classes in the game today.

The Class of 2029 Positional Rankings
The Class of 2029 is loaded with elite positional talent, featuring athletes who are raising the bar at every level. These rankings recognize the top players by position across both regional and national lists.

Each positional ranking release is organized in groups of five, making it easy to follow and track the top rising stars.

Fastpitch Fan Pick Results
This year, Extra Inning Softball added the Fastpitch Fan Pick, allowing the softball community to vote on the Top 5 players at each position. For three days, fans watched video highlights and cast their votes on our Dugout Discussion Polls page.

The Class of 2029 isn’t just excelling on the field—they are proving their dedication in the classroom as well. Extra Inning Softball’s Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or higher while balancing the demands of competitive softball.

The Drill Zone!
The Drill Zone is a members-only platform on Extra Inning Softball, providing exclusive access to offensive and defensive drills led by Extra Elite 100 players, Division I commits, and Commit Crew members.
Designed to help players sharpen their skills and improve their game, The Drill Zone is available anytime under the “Extra Extra” tab on our website.
COMING SOON: The Class of 2029 1st and 2nd Team selections will be released in July 2025. These teams will recognize the standout athletes who earned their place through talent, hard work, and dedication. Stay tuned for release dates and more information.
