Each day, a new region took center stage, providing a comprehensive overview of the players who excel in every facet of the game. These rankings celebrate the diversity and skill that define the sport, highlighting the rising stars poised to leave their mark on the national stage. - Northeast: February 24
- Southeast: February 25
- Midwest: February 26
- Southwest: February 27
- Mountain: February 28
- West: March 1

Announcing: Fastpitch Fan Pick
We recently announced a new improvement to our rankings release. Learn more about the Fastpitch Fan Pick, where the softball community votes on the placement of the Extra Elite Top 5.
For three days only, the softball community will have the chance to watch video highlights of the Top 5 players in each position and cast their votes on our website Dugout Discussion Polls page.
Once the voting period ends, we will announce the top 5 Fastpitch Fan Picks! The following day, the Extra Elite 100 #1-5 athletes will be announced.
As a reminder, players selected as Extra Elite 100 players, have been thoroughly analyzed and evaluated by our Extra Inning Softball Rankings Committee.
What’s Next?
Regional rankings pave the way for the highly anticipated national position rankings, starting the week of March 3. As part of this rollout, Extra Inning Softball will release the Extra Elite 100, five players at a time. Check out the full schedule HERE and don’t forget to note the Fastpitch Fan Pick dates.
Hitters Hotlists
Mark your calendars for March 29, when we announce the Top 75 Hitters Hotlist in each region followed by the National Top 100 Hitters Hotlist on March 30. These lists highlight the players shaping the future of softball and showcase why fastpitch is thriving.
A recent ESPN Sports Analytics report notes that players recognized in national rankings often receive increased recruitment opportunities, making lists like these crucial for young athletes.

- Distinguished Prospects (GPA 3.5-3.74): March 31
- Select Achievers (GPA 3.75-3.99): April 1
- Elite Scholars (GPA 4.0+): April 2
