We’re starting to see a lot of movement as we speed towards the Nov. 14 start of the Signing Period when those in the 2019 class can make it official by inking with their school of choice.
This week we have 35 new additions to the list including several who had changed their verbals to different schools and/or changed club teams.
This week for example, we learned that four former Hofstra recruits in the 2019 class will sign with Missouri after Coach Larissa Anderson took the Tigers job. Two of them are on the list (we profiled a third, Jenna Laird, this week!).
But Hofstra hasn’t stood pat and done nothing… the New York school got former Rutgers commit Leyden Atlas, a talented outfielder from Illinois, to commit.
Here’s a Twitter notice from her high school making the announcement:
Congratulations to Barrington High School senior Leyden Atlas on her verbal commitment to a Division I softball scholarship @ Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York! Go Pride! pic.twitter.com/L7pboNfuZ3
