Beverly Bandits Futures a Favorite at 14U

Only two dozen or so 8th graders have committed across the country so far and you can count on one hand the number of 7th graders, but Coach Ramsey Harkness has a pair of 2022’s who’ve given verbals and one of the 2023’s to give you an idea of how talented this  first year 14U team is.

The Beverly Bandits organization, led by Bill Conroy, has been on fire the last couple years highlighted by being the first organization ever to win PGF Nationals 18U and 16U Premier the same year (last summer).

This Beverly Bandits Futures team is full of talented 2022 and 2023 prospects, it could be another Bandits title in the future if the cards fall the way of the Midwest-based program.

The Beverly Bandits have two older 14U teams, one coached by Matt Helbling and another by Cray Allen that are seasoned, and ready to make an impact this year but Coach Conroy has high expectations for the Bandit Futures team down the road.

The Bandits had a strong and impressive fall and has to be considered one of the top first-year 14U teams in the country based on performance and talent alone.

Leading the way is three future SEC players who have impressed their coach with their fast development.

“Taylor Pannell, a 2022 infielder/centerfielder as well as Millie Roberts, a 2022 first base/catcher committed to Auburn, and Keagan Rothrock, a 2023 pitcher headed to Florida, have all become complete softball players on and off the field with their dedication to the sport,” says Coach Harkness.

“All three players have stepped up and proven to be among the best in the 2022 and 2023 recruiting class. They will definitely be game changers for their college programs.”
