IT’S A NEW DAY! BIG CHANGES TO MANAGEMENT AND MORE!
A few weeks ago I announced some exciting changes coming to our Extra Inning Softball platform. (see HERE) Today is a NEW DAY as we officially begin implementing our new EIS 2.0 Initiative to Empower, Inspire, and Support student athletes!
In addition to the departure of our former President of Editorial, Brentt Eads, who has moved on to pursue other passions, our EIS 2.0 team is dedicated to revolutionizing Fastpitch softball at every level of the game. We hope you’ll come along with us on this new journey to Empower, Inspire, Support all student athletes through our platform. In the days that follow, I will elaborate more on our EIS 2.0 Initiative!
UPCOMING CHANGES TO RANKINGS AND CONTENT!
Our Extra Inning Softball staff is committed to making a lasting impact! Through our platform, we strive to create a supportive environment where we can celebrate the accomplishments of talented athletes and inspire the next generation of softball players. As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and accuracy, we have revamped our rankings process, revolutionized our content goals, and recommitted ourselves to working with student athletes, parents, and coaches.
Our new approach ensures that our rankings are grounded in objective data and insight from well-connected individuals who are respected within the softball community. We still welcome the coaches’ submissions which will be considered by our rankings committee. We aim to provide a fair and accurate representation of all talented players!. More information in the days to come.
OUR COMMITTMENT – UPLIFTING CONTENT – NEW INITIATIVE!
I am resolute in my stance against the dissemination of distasteful news. It is my firm belief that our platform should serve as a beacon of positivity and encouragement for players, coaches, and fans alike. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of respect and professionalism, and we will not allow any content that does not align with our EIS values to Empower, Inspire, and Support all student athletes.
FOCUS ON MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL–BEING
Our EIS staff is deeply passionate about mental health and well-being of all athletes. We are acutely aware of the stress and pressure that many players experience as they strive for excellence, and it is our belief that addressing these challenges is paramount. With this in mind, our coverage at Extra Inning Softball does not stop at reporting on the success of talented players. Our new EIS 2.0 Initiative will also focus on educating our audience.
