Concordia St. Paul head coach Bob Bartel earned his 500th career win in a 3-2 win over Hawaii Pacific on Friday.
As the Golden Bears’ leader celebrates the milestone victory, here are Five Fast Facts about his career.
1. He is the all-time wins leader in Golden Bears program history.
Now in his 19th season leading the Concordia St. Paul program, Bartel is the program’s all-time wins leader; he set the mark in 2012 and has added to it ever since.
2. He has led the program to four NCAA tournament appearances.
Most recently in 2012, the Golden Bears also reached the D2 final eight in 2005.

4. He own a 54.7 winning percentage at Concordia St. Paul.
Bartel’s squad has posted a winning record in twelve of his eighteen seasons at the helm; the Golden Bears also finished the abbreviated 2020 season over the .500 mark.

Prior to being named as the program’s head coach in February of 2005, Bartel spent seven seasons as an assistant coach with the program.
