Extra Inning Softball announced today that the third of the pre-summer age divisions of Extra Elite Eighty club rankings for the 2021 year–the 14U club rankings—will begin on Monday, June 7, 2021.
We have moved this back because, as most of you know, our Editor Carlos Arias was hospitalized on Friday, May 14 with what turned out to be a stroke (he continues to recover in a Fresno, Calif. hospital and we continue to send him our prayers and best wishes!).
The 14U rankings release is following the publishing of the 18U and 16U Extra Elite Eighty club team ratings.
Each of the top 50 teams will have a bio with information including top accomplishments from last year, key returners, new pickups and strengths of the program.
Here’s the schedule of the Extra Elite Eighty 14U Club Rankings:
- Mon. June 7, 2021: Teams #’s 50-41
- Tues. June 8, 2021: Teams #’s 40-31
- Wed. June 9, 2021: Teams #’s 30-21
- Thu. June 10, 2021: Teams #’s 20-11
- Fri. June 11, 2021: Teams #’s 10-1
- Sat. June 12 , 2021: Teams #’s 51-80
These rankings will feature the teams projected to be the elite club teams with the best chance to win key tournaments and nationals this year.
