We’re almost into March and the Spring high school season is well underway, but it’s never too early to talk about top travel ball teams to watch this Summer.
In the South, Jessica Bilz has the 16U Bullets primed for a big year with a team loaded with outstanding 2023’s and 2024’s including three who are committed.

We have a qualifier in April for Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series.
What will it take for your team to be successful this season?
Committing to the culture we are creating. Trusting in each other and playing without fear. Capitalize on opportunities given.
Can you describe your pitching staff?
We have two veterans and two newcomers. They are already meshing together really well. They celebrate each other’s success and have each other’s backs. We have a good mixture of power and spin and added a lefty in the mix. It should be a fun season.
Can you describe your team’s offense and what some of the strengths are?
“Electric, Powerful, Fast” are the words that come to mind. This will be one of the fastest teams I have ever coached, any player can drop a bunt for a hit, or send it over the fence. They are dynamic, fun to watch, and will back opponents in a corner.
Can you describe your team’s defense and what some of the strengths are?
Bringing back 10 returners is pretty sweet. Our infield is looking smooth and I am loving our communication at practice. But, I said it last year and I will say it again, our outfield is the best around. I will put my two verbal commits, and a veteran 2024 centerfield up against the best. They won ball games last season and will do it again this season.
