Founded in 2004, Wisconsin Lightning was born to create an environment for committed athletes and their families to participate at the highest level of competitive fastpitch softball.
But it is much more than just a club to play softball.
Athletes learn the life skills of fair play, good sportsmanship, and respect. By teaching and reinforcing fundamentals, conditioning, commitment, teamwork, perseverance, and positive attitude, Lightning will provide the athletes with the necessary tools to be champions in their sport and in their life.
Built on that platform, success has followed the Wisconsin Lightning.
The Wisconsin Lightning 12U team, based out of Salem, Wis., was ranked 54th nationally in the Class of 2029 Extra Elite 100 Team rankings and was also ranked ninth in the Region Three (Midwest) team rankings.
