We are quite literally in the waning hours of July – now less than three days from the dawn of August 1st. And yet the college softball coaching carousel continues to spin.
Following Ohio’s hiring of Jenna Hall on Thursday, there are now 10 Division 1 head coaching openings across the country. There’s a handy Tracker to follow all of those changes, but as of this writing, the remaining vacant positions are headlined by Memphis and Southern Miss.
The last week-plus has seen a flurry of movement on the Carousel; let’s run down some of the moves and take a look at their impact on the respective programs.
