Renowned for its diversity in offerings, 2024 Scenic City Summer stands as one of the top events on the club summer schedule because it’s more than just a tournament.
Dubbed the Ultimate Fastpitch Experience, 2024 Scenic City Summer features college camps, all-star games and an on deck camp. The event also now includes a digital component through it partnership with Athletes Go Live, NCSA, and Coach Packet.
The 2024 Scenic City Summer event returns for the 17th consecutive season as the event will be held in Chattanooga, Tenn., on June 20-23, 2024 and operated by Connect Sports.

What is the history of the event?
Scenic City Summer is in it’s 17th year and continues to gain popularity every year. Scenic City started as a 16U only event and then expanded to include 18U several years later when when past participants aged out of the 16U Division. The 14U division has since been added giving us three age divisions of competitions.
What is the cost for the weekend?
The cost is $1,975 for each team in the 14U, 16U and 18U divisions.
What makes Scenic City Summer special?
We call Scenic City the Ultimate Fastpitch Experience. It’s become so much more than just a tournament as we now offer College Camps, All-Star Games, and On Deck Camp on Wednesday. In partnership with Athletes Go Live, NCSA, and Coach Packet, Scenic City now offers a digital component. Last summer we had over 400 College Coaches recruiting at the event
Which teams have committed to the event?
There are too many top teams to list, but the field includes multiple top 10 national finishers. The full list of teams can be seen HERE.
What about the format, or facilities, makes this event unique?
We have over 50 fields this summer within a 25-minute driving radius of one another, which makes it easy for coaches to see a significant amount of teams and players over four days. The proximity of the fields along with the ideal location of Chattanooga, Tenn., allowed us to host over 400 college coaches last year.
What makes Chattanooga an ideal host?
Being one of the top outdoor tourist destination cities in the country, Chattanooga has so much to offer from the mountains that have trails for hiking, biking, really anything you can think of – to the river where you can access anything on the water very easily! We have amazing restaurants and breweries across downtown and North Shore. Most tourists enjoy the Chattanooga Zoo, Tennessee Aquarium, Rock City, and Ruby Falls. Chattanooga has so much to offer, including tons of local restaurants. Some fan favorites are Champy’s World Famous Fried Chicken, Parkway Pourhouse, 1885 Grill and Community Pie. What additional things make this a must-attend event?
The 2024 Scenic City Summer is an Alliance approved event, in which Alliance League teams earn points for their games.
