Many of the top players and teams in Texas, as well as other states such as Alabama and Louisiana, will be participating in the 2021 Hotshots Invitational held in Conroe, Texas.
All told, 56 teams will take the fields and have the opportunity to compete in front of 40 college coaches ranging from Alabama to UCLA and, not surprisingly, with many top Texas and Oklahoma programs in attendance as well.
“We feel this is one of the top events for June, especially in our area and for the younger age divisions,” says Nathan Nelson, President of Hotshots Fastpitch, the organization hosting the event for the third consecutive year.
One key to why the event is so well liked is the aspect of long games—seven innings—so teams get to showcase their players as much as possible.
“The players get a lot of reps and do them in front of dozens of college coaches.”
There are five seeded pools that will play into single elimination with $5,000 going to the winners in each division.
