Extra Elite 100 High School Coach Rankings: #’s 50-41 (Dec. 7, 2020)

This month, after many years of honoring players as part of our Extra Elite 100 player series, we’re privileged to honor those men and women who help the athletes live their dreams: the coaches!

Why are we featuring coach rankings? The same reasons we do player ones: 1) to honor those who work so hard in the sport, and 2) to create dialog and recognition for all the good these individuals do on the field and in community.

This week we’re spotlighting high school coaches… Here’s the upcoming schedule for this month:

• Dec. 7-Dec. 11: Extra Elite 100 High School Coach Rankings
• Dec. 14-Dec. 18: Extra Elite 100 Club Coach Rankings
• Dec. 21-Dec. 25: Extra Elite 100 College Coach Rankings

The criteria we’re looking at starts with these all being active coaches, still in the dugouts and on the fields.

We’re also weighing overall resumes including on-field accomplishments (record, championships/top finishes, longevity, etc.) as well as off-field impact (player development, presence in the community, passion and contributions to the sport).

Each down we’ll count down 10 honorees, starting with #’s 50-41 and ending on Fridays with #’s 10-1.
