Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database (August 29, 2018)

With school pretty much back in swing everywhere except a few pockets like California, the club rosters are being finalized and as we’re researching the Extra Elite 100 candidates, we’re coming across a lot of new commits that are new as well as club team changes too.

This next week should be a wild one as Saturday is Sept. 1, the first date that college coaches can reach out to juniors (2020’s) and we’re already hearing of committed and uncommitted players that will get offers and, less positively, a handful of current commits who will be told they no longer have their offers still available. That’s one consequence of the new early recruiting rules, college coaches have an “out” when it comes to staying committed to players who earlier verballed to their programs.

On a more positive note, overall we have 36 new signings, verbals or club team changes added to the database including programs such as Arizona State, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan State, Minnesota, Oklahoma State, Syracuse, Utah and many more!
