With softball going full speed at the college and high school levels especially (though some club is being played in pockets across the country), this is the time when recruiting slows down… a bit.
We still have a double-digit number of signings and commits being reported, though!
Our Extra Inning Softball Signing/Verbal Database is close to 6,800 players from the Classes of 2018 to 2024 and this week we have more than 20 new updates to continue making it the biggest in the softball world!
Check back tomorrow when we’ll run the list of the new updated verbals and/or club changes of signed and committed players!

We also appreciate all those who let us know about the new commits through emails and via Twitter and Facebook… through email, send your info with details on your verbal to: [email protected] or tag us @ExtraInningSB and @Los_Stuff.
For example, Julia Dumais, a 2022 catcher/first baseman who plays for Brittany O’Donnell’s Intensity team, wrote to tell us about her exciting commit news:
“Being with Intensity for the last four years under coach Brittany O’Donnell,” she began, “I have learned a lot. I was honored to receive a bunch of offers for high D1 schools. With the guidance from family, friends and coaches. I choose Princeton to continue my academic and athletic journey.”
Another who wrote to tell us about her future plans was Emma Bethel of D1Vision, a 2022 P/1B, who explained:
“I have dreamed of playing college softball since I was a little girl. This past year has brought about allot of challenges and a renewed sense of drive to be the best. Coach Tammy (Vermeulen) has challenged me and given me the opportunity to play against the best in the country.”
“I had success and was given the chance of a lifetime to play division 1 softball at Eastern Kentucky University. Coach Worthington is one of the best coaches in the country and I look forward to being challenged and growing as a young woman and softball player.
Also, here are a few samples of the social media announcements we received recently sharing the players’ commits…
