National Club Player of the Week:
OF Coral Hill (Atlanta Vipers – Olofson)
Coral Hill, an outfielder for the Atlanta Vipers 07 – Olofson team based out of Orlando, Florida, put on a hitting display at the USA Elite Select Southeast Elite National Qualifier this weekend (August 14-17).
Her Vipers team just completed their 12U careers and jumped straight into a 14U Elite Tournament, but it didn’t slow down Coral who was 9 for 15 (.600) for the weekend with 6 singles, 2 doubles, 1 over-the-fence home, and 6 RBIs.
Coral’s best hit was a monster 2-run shot over the left field fence., but not only did she contribute at the plate, her defense was on point as well. She took full advantage of her speed and had the outfield on lock-down with three diving catches.
A straight “A” student heading into the 8th grade, she lives on the coast of Florida where she frequently surfs and rides her skateboard.
