Angelee Bueno has won multiple national titles with multiple teams, establishing herself as one of the most clutch hitters in the Class of 2023 in the process.
Bueno is a big reason why Tennessee Mojo 2023-Danley, #5 in the Extra Elite Eighty 14U Club Rankings, is expected to be a major contender at all major events this summer.
"Angelee is an all-around amazing athlete," 2023 P/OF Ashtyn Danley said of her fellow Florida State-commit. "She is a lock-down first baseman and scoops a ball no matter where it is. She has an amazing bat and can hit the long ball or put it in play to score a run. She is a great team player and is always looking for a way to help out her team any way she can. What makes Angelle unique is her personality. She always has a smile on her face and hypes up the team when they are down. She is also always herself and never changes for anything. She is a huge part of our team and what makes us great."
Bueno's teammates say her drive and dedication are unmatched and she swings a wicked stick.
"I have been playing with Angelee for about three years," 2023 2B Jace Jackson said. "She is one of hardest working players on our team. Her drive and dedication to the game is unmatched. Her bat is always on fire and right on time for clutch moments in our games. We work well together in the field since she plays first and I play second. Her smile is contagious and I’m honored to be her sister/teammate."
Bueno is known for being dependable in pressure situations.
"Angelee is an amazing hitter and is someone who you can always count on when the game is on the line," 2023 C Kiley Strott said. "She is always positive both on and off the field and she is an amazing teammate. Her swing is unbelievable and she is so exciting to watch at the plate. Something unique about Angelee is that she is very humble and you don't always find that in a player at this level."
