Happy Halloween! Prepare to be Amazed by These Madalyn Cline Makeup Creations!

Halloween has always been one of my favorite holidays and this year–despite COVID-19 and social distancing–became even more special when I saw the following videos by Madalyn Cline, the daughter of one of my good friends from my childhood days in Central Ohio, Scott Cline.

The Cline family, including mom Beth and three other siblings, now lives in Boerne, Texas and Madalyn is a 22-year-old professionally certified makeup artist. She attended Cinema Makeup School (Los Angeles, California) in 2017 and completed the Master Makeup Program.

Today, Madalyn creates a variety of makeup tutorials on YouTube, ranging anywhere from natural, everyday makeup, to crazy prosthetics and body paints!

Take a look at this amazing one that first got me hooked:

Madalyn told me this week, “My dream is to create content on YouTube full-time and I appreciate anyone willing to subscribe to my channel!”

She currently has over 287 videos on her channel from the past three years with over 9,200 subscribers.

“A lot of time and money goes into creating YouTube videos,” Madalyn explains, “because I buy my own wigs, costumes, contact lenses, props, backdrops, cameras, lighting, microphones, editing software & hard drives, etc.”

“The average YouTube video takes about 12 hours to make, including filming, editing, and photographing; however, my longest makeup application was 12 hours itself.”

One of her favorite videos, Madalyn says, is when she dressed up and walked around unsuspecting people.

“This is also a pretty funny one… I vlogged myself wearing Halloween costumes in public for a week in 2019!”

I think you’ll agree that Madalyn is a pretty talented artist! Here’s to wishing her great success in her career and who knows? Maybe when she wins her first Academy Award for Makeup we can all say we knew her when she was a blossoming YouTube star!
