1. (1) Los Alamitos, CA (6-0)
The Griffins were idle last week and have games against nationally-ranked Chino Hills, CA, and Gahr, CA, this week.
2. (2) Leander, TX (28-0)
LSU-commit Baylea Brandon hit her 17th homer to go along with 60 RBIs for the Lions, who are the District 25-5A champions.
3. (3) Norco, CA (7-1)
The Cougars picked up three quality wins over Great Oak, CA, 4-1, Murrieta Mesa, CA, 7-0, and La Habra, CA, 11-2.
4. (4) Marist, IL (0-0)
The Redhawks open their season against Minooka, IL, on Friday.
5. (5) Crown Point, IN (4-0)
Arizona-bound Madi Elish is batting .455 with a homer, three doubles, a triple and five RBIs in four games.
6. (8) Park Vista, FL (17-0)
Purdue-bound Tyrina Jones is 9-0 with a 0.43 ERA and 76 Ks in 48.1 IP for the Cobras, who ran their winning streak to 36 games with three wins last week.
7. (9) Villa Park, CA (7-0)
Claire Duckworth delivered a walk-off double in the bottom of the seventh to give the Spartans a 2-1 victory over Rosary Academy, CA, and they pounded out four HRs in a 7-4 win over Sonora, CA, last week to remain undefeated.
8. (7) Crescenta Valley, CA (0-0)
The Falcons open their season at Muir, CA, today.
9. (10) Mater Dei Catholic, CA (5-0)
Sami Gutierrez went 2 for 4 with a homer and three RBIs in the Crusaders 6-2 win over Steele Canyon, CA, last week.
10. (11) Saugus, CA (1-0)
The Centurions were idle last week.
