Addison Oberbreckling, a 2025 first baseman and catcher who plays for Fury Platinum National-Groves, recently committed to the University of Pittsburgh to further her softball career.
Her story is not unusual in that she has been playing softball since she was 8 years old. In that rec league environment, she fell in love with the game, and from there her passion has only grown. She credits the coaches that she had in 10u and 12u for helping shape her into the player she is today.
