Jeff Conrad Named North Florida Head Coach

UPDATE: North Florida officially announced Conrad’s hiring on Friday morning.

ORIGINAL STORY: North Florida is promoting Jeff Conrad to the position of head coach, sources confirmed to Extra Inning Softball on Friday.

Conrad spent the last seven seasons on the UNF coaching staff, serving as an assistant coach and working with the Osprey offense. He was part of the coaching staff that led the program to 42 wins during the 2022 season, a program record at the Division 1 level.

In addition to his work with the UNF offense, Conrad also served as the program’s recruiting coordinator during his time on staff.

Prior to joining the North Florida staff in the fall of 2015, Conrad was a volunteer assistant at UCF and previously coached at the travel ball level. An ex-Division 1 baseball player, he spent his own playing career at Valparaiso.
