Jenny Allard Named Pitt Head Coach

Pitt has hired Jenny Allard as the program’s new head coach.

Allard spent the last 27 seasons as head coach at Harvard, posting a 688-518-4 overall record with 342 wins in Ivy League play. She departs the conference as both the longest-tenured and winningest coach in Ivy softball history.

During her tenure at Harvard, Allard led the Crimson to eight NCAA tournament appearances and nine Ivy League titles. The Crimson returned to the top of the league in 2023, winning the first-ever Ivy League conference tournament.

In 2022, Allard was elected to the NFCA Hall of Fame.
