Game action Saturday at the Top Gun Invitational in Shawnee, Kansas, the last day of action as rain would cancel games on Sunday.

Mother Nature didn’t make nice on Father’s Day in the Kansas City metro area as all action at the Top Gun Invitational and the nearby Team1 event were rained out on Sunday.

That meant Saturday play was the capper for the week of fastpitch fun as pool play had ended and the “one and done” chase to the championships had started in the evening and was supposed to have culminated with titles awarded Sunday evening.
