New Hitters Rankings from Extra Inning Softball Highlight Top Talent

Extra Inning Softball is thrilled to unveil the first-ever Hitters Rankings for the Class of 2025! With the advancement of our new, proprietary rankings software, developed in collaboration with former Division I and professional softball players and coaches, we now have more capacity than ever to provide comprehensive and unbiased rankings for the nation’s top fastpitch softball athletes.

This innovative software is the result of months of dedicated work and consultation with elite women in the sport, ensuring that our rankings are accurate, thorough, and representative of the extraordinary talent across the nation. The release of these rankings marks a significant moment not just for Extra Inning Softball, but for the fastpitch softball community as a whole. We are proud to celebrate the achievements of athletes who have trained tirelessly and performed at the highest levels, and this new system allows us to do so with an even greater scope and precision.

Rolling Out the Region Power Hitters by Lineup

The first phase of our new Hitters Rankings is the Region Power Hitters by Lineup. This regional list shines a spotlight on the top hitters across all six regions of the U.S. for the Class of 2025. These rankings not only recognize standout athletes in each region but also highlight the depth of talent across the country.

The release schedule for the Region Power Hitters by Lineup is as follows:

• Region 1 (Northeast): October 28, 2024
• Region 2 (Southeast): October 29, 2024
• Region 3 (Midwest): October 30, 2024
• Region 4 (Southwest): October 31, 2024
• Region 5 (Mountain): November 1, 2024
• Region 6 (West): November 2, 2024

We can’t wait to showcase the remarkable talent from each region, and this is only the beginning!

Honoring the Nation’s Top 300 Hitters

After celebrating regional talent, we will turn our attention to honoring the top hitters from across the nation. This national recognition will be divided into three exciting tiers:

• Extra Prospect Hitters Hot List (players ranked 201-300)
• Extra Select Hitters Hot List (players ranked 101-200)
• Extra Elite 100 Hitters Hot List (players ranked 1-100)

Each group represents the very best of the nation’s hitters, and we are eager to reveal these names in the coming weeks!

• Extra Elite 100 Hitters Hot List [players ranked 1-100]:
